Muse and Metrics with Philippa Burgess

I hope your new year is off to a good start. We are about to shake off winter in a couple of weeks and get ready for a time change and a new season. I am sure all of us have either started new things, or intended to start some new things. As we find ourselves integrating the adjustments we’ve made over the last two years, I am sure we all have there are parts of our former selves we are leaving behind, and some aspects of life that perhaps we want to reclaim.

One of the new activities I started this year is a podcast and online radio show called “Muse and Metrics”. It is all about the possible and the practical. In it I discuss my thoughts and experiences having worked as both a creative and business professional in entertainment, cannabis, and real estate. I launched the show on 360 Talk Radio for Women and it airs weekly on Mondays at 7 am Pacific / 8 am Mountain / 9 am Central / 10 am Eastern. Some of the replays or clips are also available on YouTube. You can download the 360 Talk Radio for Women app or ask Amazon’s Alexa to play the channel for you.

Muse and Metrics is the overall brand and within it, I have dedicated communities and brands— one of which is The Entitled Developer. In general, the areas I am most interested in offering coaching services and developing courses are with my experience working in entertainment, specifically in literary development, sales strategy, and creative career development; my experience as an entrepreneur starting and scaling businesses, and now in real estate investment and development.

I am transitioning my professional life as I complete a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning this year. As part of this, I am working with some emerging developers and real estate investors in a program called The Entitled Developer. If you have an interest in making cities, communities, and lives better through real estate development — I invite you to join me. The premise is that if you take a closer look at city plans and align yourself with the needs of the city or region, you have a solid foundation from which to get your entitlements (aka approvals) granted. I am enjoying working with the people who are in this community every step of the way as they evaluate opportunities, engage in planning, and commit to the property and its improvements.

I have a lot I want to share to help others as they look to create — and am finding that being a creator myself is the best way to do it. If there is something I know about that can help you — let’s connect. Check out the show on the radio or on YouTube. I also invite you to learn about my offerings and my show sponsors at Muse and Metrics. This is the beginning, and with your support and the support of others, we can make this into something valuable. If you like what you see and hear — and have someone in mind who you think would make a good guest (yourself included), please reach out.
